Countdown ticker: 21 hours

What an interesting semester!  So much has happened in this one block of time.  I've learned some things about college too.  Sometimes it's not always about getting that A.   Sometimes something lower can feel just as good because you know you really deserved it.  Never, never, never give up either.  No matter how bleak the future looks keep going.  I needed to do this this term.  At so many points I just wanted to give up, but now it's over and I'm so glad I didn't give up.  

Now I'm ready for a hardworking summer.  But it'll be good to put this term behind me and be a SENIOR!

Let's make this official...

It's true- we are engaged!  We will have a wedding website soon and post pictures.  

The countdown ticker...

The countdown on my dashboard read somewhere around 75 days until New York.  Now New York has passed and I'm back home.  Being there was absolutely incredible.  I got to spend time with family members I never see and meet new people that were great to see.  Just being there opened my eyes to all of the possibilities out there that I have in front of me.  I'm graduating in just over a year and where will I go?  I could absolutely see myself living in New York sipping a $5 coffee at a little bistro, wearing gorgeous suede boots I could never buy here.  Walking down the street at a quickened pace to get to wherever it is I'm going.  

But then I could see myself somewhere else entirely.  Living in a hut in Africa meeting the needs of the children around me.  

Other than just where I want to go, being near my family reminded me of those amazing people I'm so blessed to be related to.  I hardly ever get to see them, what if I lived somewhere near any one of them?  I could learn so much from so many different people in my family.  

Ahh, where will the Lord take me in this journey?  Because after all my thoughts and plans, He's the one directing after all.  

The countdown ticker now reads 28 days 19 hours until this horrible semester is over.  While I'm sad New York is over, I'm excited to see how it impacts my life in the long run.
